September 22, 2008 Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor Anniversary Today is the anniversary of the death of one of the best friends a girl could ever ask for! It's been documented in many a interview how I felt about Ray but I want to say it again on this day... I loved this man because he was my brother, my daddy, my best "girlfriend", my traveling partner, my room service buddy, my confidant, my everything! Ray knew more about me than anyone while he was living. We traveled up and down the road together and for hours on end we talked and laughed about our lives. I was blessed that his sweet wife Angie didn't mind him traveling with me. Most wives would have been "not so gracious", but Angie knew that when Ray was with me he would be more safe and taken care of than when I wasn't on the road with him. I used to love the way we would go to the hotel after the show...we hated to drive the night of the show...(there are those who want to get to the next town that night and there are those who like to stay, eat dinner, relax and drive the next day...Ray and I were the latter of those two!) so we would get to the hotel, Ray would get me to my room, give me his food order and then go to his room to call Angie and the girls and then when the food was ready and I was in my lovely flannel pj's (I live in my pj's!) he would come to my room and we would eat dinner, laugh, watch tv or movies and then I would get my typical kiss on the top of my head and he would say "Goodnight Sissy!" I have so many memories of those nights. Also, I have memories of Ray and I being late because he always got lost...we once got lost in a parking deck for 15 minutes...I am not kidding! We laughed our way through it all. I miss my friend so much and look at his picture everyday! He left behind two beautiful, smart and sweet daughters whom he loved dearly. They have a lot of Ray's qualities as well as a lot of Angie's qualities. Lacey and Megan carry on the legacy that is RAY TRAYLOR. I LOVE YOU MY RAY RAY and I miss you everyday! *just a reminder to everyone...Ray had left me three voicemails asking me to call him and if you know me...I am not the greatest at returning phone calls quickly...but I would put Ray on the backburner because I knew he loved me and wouldn't be mad at me if I called him last...It kills me to this day that when he died...I had not returned his calls. Take care of those you love, say the things you feel when you feel them...because you never know when it will be the last opportunity to do so! July 25, 2008: So here we are...just you and me! Okay, just kidding we
are surrounded by thousands but we will just pretend for one little moment
in time that it is just us! So, I want to take this opportunity to
say a few things that have been on my mind.
While I love and appreciate all of my fans...I have to tell
you it doesn't make me happy when people create websites or MySpace pages
posing as me!!! I never mind a site that is a fan site or a tribute
site...in fact I am honored by such...but when you pretend you are me,
when you answer people's questions as me, when you talk about what "I'm"
doing, when you speak about MY daughter as though you are me...that
doesn't fly with me! It is morally wrong, it is legally wrong.
So bottom line if you are currently posturing yourself as me...STOP!
Another thing that has me all steamed lately is people who
send me messages daily and expect me to answer every day...and if I don't
then they get PO'd because I either didn't answer or answered with a
quick response! Are you kidding me? I am one of the few
celebrities that actually tries to answer fan messages myself. If
you get something and it says Terri :) on it then you can be assured it
was me. If not it will say someone else's name on it. So, as I
told Trever on my MySpace account...either I can pay someone to answer all
of my messages and it will not be authentic or I can answer them myself
but the answers or responses will not be very long. Imagine getting
tons of messages or emails and each person wants your time but you have a
lot to do in a day...business, MySpace, Family, etc. I want you guys
to know that you matter to me but that I can't answer everyone
everyday! K.? Just know I do the best I can for
you.
One more tiny thing that kinda sounds like me "bitching" but
it's really not. I love your comments...keep em coming but I don't
like those big adds and gigantic "thanks for the add" or "have a great
weekend" gimmicks! They take up too much
room! K. That being said...I love it
when you guys send me pictures that we have taken together or when you
send pics that I have never seen before or haven't seen in a long
time! That is really FUN!
Keep those incredible essays coming!!! It makes my
heart happy to know that you guys care so much about other people and want
to help others!!! I will probably end up extending the contest
because of a PayPal glitch...so if you haven't already sent your essay
in...get your booty busy!!! :) It's for a good cause!
I hope I get to see a lot of you while I am out doing
appearances here and there! The next couple will be in the
Carolina's I think. Come and see me!

Dakota! He did them for me and I swear they make me want to cry
happy tears every time I see them. I also cry sad tears knowing one
day soon Dakota will leave her Mummy! :( I love my kid what can I
say!!! :)
Okay, go do something good for someone else today!!!
